The Company was informed that on 4 January 2010, Dr Richard Stabbins, a non-executive director of the Company, purchased 7,223 ordinary shares of 40 pence each (“Ordinary Shares”) at a price of 148.5 pence per Ordinary Share.

Following this purchase, Dr Stabbins is interested in a total of 296,713 Ordinary Shares representing 0.14 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
